Where everything began
In 2018 on a trip in Morocco the initial idea was born for an animated shortfilm. The architecture, landscapes and culture of Morrocco had a big impact on the story.
Also, political topics like climate change or the refugee crisis of Europe in 2015 were important issues that should play a role in the story.
A one-man project
In 2018, it was clear that my thesis will be a project where every single part of the production is done by myself. The intention was that everyone who watches the short film can be sure that there was no big team with multiple departments responsible for their dedicated tasks.
Also, I am very thankful I had my friends and family around me, I could always ask for help or feedback during that big challenge. And a special thanks to the excellent academic guidance of my professor.
